It has been a labor of love throughout all of 2016 putting Our Living Earth Coloring and Ecology Book together.During my research, I found some eye-opening facts about the ecosystems, animals, and plants featured in the book. Our planet is truly incredible, complex and interconnected. I am grateful for everything I learned and to the folks who helped make this book possible.Consulting with my wildlife biologist friend deepened my understanding of the places featured in the book and led me to some wonderful discoveries. Did you know that fewer people have visited the bottom of the ocean than have gone to the moon? How powerful is a jaguar's jaw? How much water can a saguaro cactus hold? Find out inside the book!My children love the coloring pages. There is a real diversity of straightforward and complex drawings to color. Thank you Erik Ohlsen for being a voice for our beautiful world. We must encourage our children to explore the natural world and by doing so, they will come to treasure it. An interactive teaching coloring book such as this is something every parent should be giving to their child. In light of the events this week concerning the essential freezing of the EPA under the new administration, education of our youth and stewardship of our lands is of paramount importance.
FYI - I really love this series! The story that goes along with the pictures is very concise but will easily lead to more questions to look up and learn about.
I am a homeschool mom of 4. Our Living Earth coloring book is great for all ages. It's educational and fun. My 8 year old has been studying the animals in more detail. He's excited to learn! It's a great way for us to learn and spend quality time together. Thank you Erik Ohlsen!
Great coloring book, I loved itI have only recently discovered the joy of relaxing with a coloring book. Of course, I did them as a kid and I get other typical coloring books for my kids, but a friend turned me on to coloring as an adult and it is a great way to let the stress melt away.This is my 5th coloring book so far and it is by far the best. I had a great time and enjoyed everything about itHighly recommended
I loved this coloring book! As a homeschooling mom to 3 kids I always love to find ways to make learning fun and interesting. This coloring book combines interesting facts about different ecosystems with fun scenes to color that also teach about the animals and plants that are a part of that ecosystem. Highly recommend this one!

I love this coloring book! My daughter loves nature and studies so much about it. She is homeschooled I find this book as a great asset to our homeschooling. She gets to learn about different environments and then she gets to color!
We need more books like this! It's not just another "adult coloring book" full of boring (sorry, relaxing) mandalas. It ties lessons and stories about each scene into the process. Each animal and plant that you color is part of the story. I love it! Even the beautiful mandalas. :)
