Upon reviewing the content for subtest 1, I found this book very difficult to read because it explains proofs and formulas in paragraph form which is not a reader friendly way to explain math. Proofs will be a big part of the constructed response portion and this book does a very poor job going over the constructed response section - they don't. In addition, the practice questions are very easy and is not similar to the practice test on the official CTC website.This book is not thorough and detailed enough to go over the scope of the CSET exam.
This is one of the most awful books I’ve ever encountered. It is riddled with mistakes, and it does a terrible job of preparing readers for the CSET.If you want to do well on the CSET, do not buy this book, or any other book that claims to be a CSET prep book. Instead, enroll in a prep class and buy some used college textbooks.Trust me.
Practice test is way easier than the practice test put out by the CTC. Kindle version has a lot of symbol errors in it.
Don't trust this to help you with CSET material, fails to properly cover topics on the exam.
The guide is good for refreshment of the material.I believe it will improve CSET score.
Save your money to buy some other books on cset.

I always take advantage of it, and it arrives promptly, and they are amazing as well. Inside the book, there is an introduction, and 3 different subtests. The first one is number quantity, algebra, and practice questions. The second section contains geometry, probability and statistics with more practice questions. The third section has calculus with more practice questions. This book is a guarantee to help you prep for a test and raise your score!
