About the Author
Ozzy Inguanzo is Green Lantern's research and asset manager. He has been living at the epicenter of the Green Lantern movie for almost a year and a half. The filmmakers have told us that he is their resident expert on the comic books and the conceptual artwork produced for the film: from storyboards, creatures, and costumes, to environments, vehicles, and props. Geoff Johns is the Chief Creative Officer of DC Entertainment and a comic book writer. Johns is best known for his work on Superman, Green Lantern, and The Flash, and he is credited with bringing Green Lantern to its current levels of popularity.

This book provides incredible insight not only into the Green Lantern Universe, but into film making in general. This book covers all the bases about character bio's and scene construction without giving away too much of the movies mysteries. The amount of information provided by the author is staggering. The development of the planet Oa is an incredible read, and it is filled with concept sketches and beautiful artwork that shows the creative thought process to bringing a universe to life. An excellent Job all around and a very enjoyable read.
Although the movie didn't do very well this book completely makes up for it showing behind-the-scenes look concept art all the different alien races and beautiful pictures this book is fantastic
GREEN LANTERN shows how superhero movies should be. Adventure, action, and respectful to the source. This book goes into great detail on the incredible special effects of this film, from the aliens right down to the costumes! I recommend the movie, and then I recommend this book to see how it was all brought together!
This book is basically a combination of an art book and a movie companion. Lots of stills (both behind and in front of the cameras) are included as well as numerous conceptual images. I must say that, this book pales in comparison to what Marvel Studios has been churning out on the art book front. Marvel Studios art books are all about art. This book is more about the behind the scenes stuff, including preparations for shootings and stuff.The aliens featured in the Green Lantern Corps are interesting but I would like to see more. It is very intriguing to see how they try to translate the difficult-to-grasp concept of Green Lantern to the mass audience.I like the book but I think it could have incorporated more artworks to the contents.
The pictures in this book are incredible! My favorites are the conceptual renderings for the many members of the Green Lantern Corps. It'll be interesting to see what the characters look like on a 3D screen and compare it to the version on the page. If you're a Green Lantern fan, or want to become one, this is the book for you! Lots and lots of background info on the character, the universe it protects, as well as the moviemakers' journey to finally take this wonderful character to the big screen. Highly recommended!

How the people over at WB could goof up this film with a production staff as talented as this confounds me to no end. The same guy who designed "the one ring" for Lord of The Rings designed the power ring! HOW COULD THEY SO HORRIBLY MISS THE POINT OF THE CHARACTER???
