About the Author
Chris Ferrie is an award-winning physicist and Senior Lecturer for Quantum Software and Information at the University of Technology Sydney. He has a Masters in Applied Mathematics, BMath in Mathematical Physics and a PhD in Applied Mathematics. He lives in Australia with his wife and children.

I love these books. They are child friendly in both the design, layout, and definitions. The only critic I have is that the graphic and definition of Atom is incorrect in two of the books. I wish there was a newer corrected addition.
These are a cute idea but I wish the vocabulary describing the words was a lot more simple. You end up having to explain what a lot more means than is worth trying to teach with the books. No young child is going to know what a collective is or understand the concept of black matter.
I was a little leery when I ordered these books for my 10 month old son for christmas- I was expecting them to be small and uneventful, but my husband really wanted him to have them. Let me just say that I was REALLY impressed when I got these books! They are a really good size, vibrant and sturdy AND they have 3 different levels of learning, 1 is just ABC, 1 is a little information about what the word representing the letter means, and 1 is even more information! These books are really going to last and grow with my son. So worth the price tag!
These books describe concepts in a very simple way. I’m not sure if they will help in understanding the same concepts on a deeper level later on in life. They definitely are fun to read and get your little one to start asking more questions
My 7 year old son LOVES these books. He will sit in his bed and read them carefully. :)
I bought these for my 4 month old foster baby. He is just getting into the idea of being read to. These are nice because they are interesting for me, and they will grow with him over time. The illustrations, content, and grow with me features are all wonderful. The board books iare solid, and not super tiny like many board books. They are a nice middle-ground size. I highly recommend these!
As a science lover myself, I really enjoy passing that along to my kids. My 11 month old and 3 year old both enjoy them. These four books are great and I'm definitely planning to purchase some other Baby University books.
I purchased this set of books for my son that really loves the alphabet. The books were overall a great deal with lots of great information for curious little minds! The only problem i have is with the space abc book, it didnt have pages for letters g and h... When my son saw that letters were missing, he instantly lost interest..
