This book proves to me that my skin isn't thick enough to be associated with Hollywood. Actress Veronica Pantoni is staying out of the public eye waiting for the rumors to die down that she's the reason Chris Sanderson and Kim Donnelly aka KIS broke up. She didn't have anything to do with it, but KIS fans don't seem to care about the truth. When Veronica's agent calls with news that she got the lead in a movie version of her favorite book she's beyond excited, but almost turns down the part when she learns Chris Sanderson will play her love interest in the movie. What's a girl to do?Chris Sanderson may have fallen into acting but he's tired of being the buff and handsome "screen candy" and wants to become an actor that can be taken seriously. He feels that Veronica can help him do that--somehow when they perform together she brings out the best in him. The only problem is his recent decision to not get involved with a costar ever again, especially with the chemistry he and Veronica have on and off the set.This couple really had chemistry--I mean smoking hot, holy moly, but this is a clean romance. I LOVED the scene with the box of doughnuts, but it made me want some Krispy Kreme (although the book doesn't mention a specific brand). The scene in the restaurant when the ex-girlfriend has a meltdown was funny--only because it backfired on the poor deluded girl and finally got the public to lay off of Veronica for their breakup.I liked reading the parts about the movie being made--how many different shots they took of the scenes for closeups, etc. I'll definitely think about that the next time I see a movie. I also liked the suspense element to the story.

The dedication page at the beginning got my attention immediately!!! How could it not? As this book is dedicated to Hemsworth, Evans, Pine and Pratt (some of my favorite superhero Chris Actors!) I was definitely excited, lol.I really enjoyed the first book in this series, “Saved by the Rockstar”, and was thrilled to see there was another one. You don’t have to read them in order, but it was neat seeing the connection this one had to the other.The two main characters had some fun bantering, many swoony moments, and an element of suspense/danger that I loved. Watching two professional actors play each other’s love interest on and off the screen was delightful and I couldn’t put it down.The author has plans to write a third book in the series, and I can’t wait!!

I enjoyed this story. Veronica had been burned by gossip regarding her and Chris. The fallout from it continued to haunt her even onto her new project. She landed the lead female role in a film adaption of one of her favorite books. Between the accidents and Chris being the lead male character, she had to decide whether to give up or fight for what was important to her. Chris and Veronica brought out the best in each other. I did think the book wrapped up a little too fast, but other than that, I thought it was well done.

If you’re looking for a sweet romance with some suspense, then Saved by the Movie Star will hit the spot. Veronica and Chris were co-stars in Chain Reaction, along with Kim, the girlfriend of Chris. They break up and rumors start that Veronica is a home wrecker. There was no affair, but Veronica still wary about co-starring with Chris in Portent. Grab your copy and see what happens on set and off.

Saved by the Movie Star was an exciting story. Veronica and Chris had real chemistry. Not only was this a sweet, clean romance, it also had intrigue when "accidents" began happening on the movie set. This story is well written and well paced. I started reading because I was taking a 30 minute break, but I could not put it down until I finished it! You do not want to miss this story.

Nice little story about actors and making a movie. There is a stalker. There are accidents . I really liked the main characters and felt they were a good match. It did wrap up fairly quickly and has a happy ending. It was a fast read.

Drama on a drama movie set? What a better way to keep the story moving along! I love the HEA ending.

I love Judith Viorst. Starting with Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, and I've been a fan of her work ever since. Her age related books, from How Did I Get to Be 40 and Other Atrocities all the way through Unexpectedly Eighty and Other Adaptations are wonderful! With her astute observations of the realities of aging, her sharp wit softens the blows of reality with humor. As Viorst points out the poignant pains and inconveniences of each stage of life, she manages to make me laugh at myself. I use these books often as gifts for milestone birthdays.

Judith Viorst has produced a poetry book every decade since she did thirty, and is now up to seventy! The poems are about relationships with family and friends. Many are humorous, many are touching, and all very readable. She really hits home with her lines, and the reader can relate with no trouble at all.She also writes children's books and has written a mystery full of wonderful characters! All three genres are exceedingly good.

I have bought Forever Fifty for many of my friends as they have reached the half century mark. Not only is it poignant and filled with chuckles, it is true. If you are worried about turning fifty, Judith Viorst will help you through it by helping you identify with the age as well as letting you know you are not alone. Her other books, Suddenly Sixty and I Am Too Young to be Seventy, are good as well, but maybe not quite five stars, but that maybe because I am only sixty-four!

I got this for my two teen aged daughters. They were kind of embossed and rolled their eyes at me but when I wasn't looking I think it was read, at least some. My older daughter refers to it as "the vagina book." LOL. As a woman who grew up with my own addition of this excellent book, I am proud to have the newest addition for my own girls...even if they roll their eyes!

I love this book so much. I had one of them whenever I was a young girl back in the early 70s my mom gave it to me and it was my go to for any and every question I had for anything. Now it is my turn to hand this off to my daughter and she will be able to look up things that she might not feel comfortable asking. Even though she knows that she can ask us anything. I highly recommend this for children who are 10-11 or older. You are never too old for this book it answers just about everything.This product was a personal purchase for myself at the normal retail/list price. I am reviewing it solely because I want to share my experience with other potential customers. I have received no compensation for my review nor do I have any relationship with the seller or manufacturer of this product.

I bought this book for my husband because frankly, he's not real skilled in the bedroom--he just doesn't seem to know where things are or how they work. The book arrived on the date promised and I put sticky notes on the parts I felt would help him the most and then I left the book in his favorite easy chair in the man cave. He didn't say anything, but late that week, on Saturday night, I could tell that he had read the book!!! I highly recommend this book for wives who want to educate their husbands on the ins and outs of the female body.

I've followed this book about women by women from the original edition decades ago when I lived in Boston. Today the medical fields still fail to help women really know their bodies, and this book remains the hallmark of information for women to learn and understand themselves. So grateful as a young woman in finding this book and group of sharing women. It has helped me through life, and now as I enter my 70's.

OK I’m going to date myself, but I was in college when this book first came out. During that time this book was an eye opener to things that were never discussed in women’s health. I ordered this book when I read they might not be publishing it anymore. This book is still on topic and though I might not need some parts of the book I now read the later in life parts (which I ignored when I was younger).

Excellent book for teaching young women and men about their bodies. Primarily written for girls and women of all ages (as it goes through menapause) there are aspects that are appropriate for boys and men... about themselves and also to educate themselves about the women in their lives.Quite comprehensive and easy to understand. A much older edition was what my mother got for me and my sitters when we were preteens And it was quite well read

I wlll miss the info and wisdom as this is the final edition.If you do not have a copy for yourself or your daughter I urge you to get one. Medicine is still behind in informing women of their health issues and needs.

Everything that you need to know about woman, it’s in this book. I found that this book very useful, very informative and it is also help mothers who want their daughter can understand easily how important to know about themselves and all about women’s world, history and take care their own body.

It's a good book for a woman to have. I got an earlier edition when I went to college 25 years ago. I bought this one for my daughter as she leaves for school this fall. (Although the earlier edition was worded better.)
